Those are good questions!

First, Scorpio and Pisces tend to get along great because they share the same element- water. Water is deep, intuitive, and often emotional, so the two of you may appreciate those qualities in one another.

He does want you to feel jealous because the odds are that he sometimes feels jealous over you- jealousy is a very common trait in Scorpios. So, he wants to make sure that his emotional level is matching yours- he doesn't want to waste his time. Basically, he's looking to see if you both feel the same- does that make sense?

one thing i forgot to mention... my boyfriend has a co-worker that likes him. i'm not bothered by it, because i'm not a jealous person, but he was really bugging me about what i thought of it, almost as though he WANTED me to be jealous? For someone who tries to keep his thoughts private, he certainly wanted to know mine... could he want me to show more signs of jealousy?

Okay, yes, your rising sign is the same as the ascendant (you find that by knowing the time of your birth). In terms of books, it depends on what you want more information on. If you just want a book to teach you the basics, then anything will do (basic books cover the different houses, the planets, and if you get lucky, some of the aspects).

If you want something deeper, like soul mate connections, nodes, and stuff like that, you may want to read some stuff by Jan Spiller. Barbara Hand Clow also has a very interesting take on Chiron (book of the same name). You may also want to read Susan Miller's Planets and Possibilities; it take an in depth look at the sun signs, and it's very descriptive and rich (she even discusses many of the myths that are associated with the signs), so that might be a great read. That's a good question! Usually, it means that the rising sign, sun and moon are all in the same sign. It's neither a good or bad thing- it just means that who you are, how you feel, and the way you look are all colored by one sign.

Well, Scorpios and Virgos do tend to get along very well. Virgo is much more mental and as you said, not quite as emotional and Scorpio usually has great powers of the mind, so they usually click.

The only potential problem could be if the Virgo is too cool and the Scorpio wants more emotions. Other than that however, it can certainly work!
