I can understand how he feels-many people are wary about astrology, but astrology just shows you the "condition", not destiny or anything like that.

Yes both Scorpio and Virgo like having things their way- so compromise will be necessary. Do you know where the moon is in your charts'? If you write back with your birth dates (and time and place of birth), I can tell you more.

If not, then the best thing is to tell him the truth- that you really like him, but you are a little worried about his need to do things his way; ask him what he thinks the two of you can do so that you can continue to have a great time together- the odds are pretty good that he knows that he likes to have his own way and if he really likes you, he'll try to come up with a compromise that works well for both of you. I'm a virgo woman and i hav jus starting dating a scorpio man.. so far we have sooo much in common and the sex was amazing becaz i am not shy used to be but i learned to open up so it was omg. Your birth date is 09/09/78 at 11:12pm, Tucson Az, right? If that's correct, I see that most of your planets are in the 4th (you have 4 planets here), the 5th (3 planets here) and the second (2 planets).

Yes, it's very normal to see a preponderance of planets in only certain houses, and for other houses to be completely empty. Unfortunately, there aren't many free sites on the Web to find out more about your chart. That said, visit Astrology.com. They have terrific reports that are pretty cheap and they do a good job of breaking down the aspects for you. Other than that, the best thing to do is to sit down with a few good astrology books and learn it the old-fashioned way.

The other thing I wanted to tell you is that when you see "Squares" in a chart- that means internal struggle. This is different from an "Opposition" which is outside. You can't change an opposition as much as you can mitigate a square (because squares deal with your own attitude). Don't let your chart get you down-everyone has something that they need to work out, and no chart is perfect.

For example, your Sun sextiles Uranus, so that means you probably get brilliant insights all the time. And your moon conjuct neptune, which may make you a little psychic.

Now, your moon sextiles pluto, so you are all about getting to the bottom of things (especially internal feelings). I actually see a ton of great aspects, including Mars conjuct Pluto, trine Asc, trine Midheaven- talk about staying power! You are a born survivor! And we haven't even gotten to your Venus aspects! The point? Every chart has something spectacular to offer, and we are all born with what we need to make it, and make it brilliantly!

One more question I forgot - On my birth chart it seems that everything is in the houses 1-6 for the most part - is that normal & what does that mean? When I did a birth chart for a couple of my friends they are all over the place yet mine seems to be restricted to the lower half.

It is time to let this Scorpio go... all though I would not mind dating another Scorpio. Anyway I wanted to say that after reading your assesment of my birth chart - it made me curious - so I started to research my own a little - and all I have to say is no wonder I drive myself crazy sometimes - a lot of emotions and thoughts that seem to contradtict each other. I feel like my chart is full of contradictions - not that i can understand everything it says but I am learning. Anything else you seem to see in my chart that would help me understand myself and emotions - which I don't deal with well. Would be appreciated or any good resources I can learn more with. Thanks

First, let's chat without the astrology bit- what more can you do? He wasn't giving you any signs he was interested and you apologized for seeing someone else (which you really didn't have to do anyway), so try to stop beating yourself up over this. I know it's hard when things go heartbreakingly wrong, but sometimes there really isn't anything we can do.

Ok, enough soapbox! Time for astrology. Here's what I see:

You have an intriguing chart- most notably, Gemini rising, Sag moon coupled with a Virgo sun. That tells me that sometimes your actions don't match your inner feelings- or perhaps you come across as much more bubbly than you may actually feel inside.

The attraction you feel to this Scorpio is that you have Venus in fifth house. So, not only do you love the way he is, but you feel it very intensely in your romantic house.

Your Mars is in Libra and it's also in your fifth, so you are, or can be, a very passionate lady when you like someone. Again, however, there is a lot of push and pull energy within you because your Venus is intense, so you like things mysterious and murky, but your Mars (sexuality, drive, passion) tells another story because it's in "hands off" Libra.

Okay, his chart:

To say this man is a triple Scorpio threat is the understatement of the year! He has five planets in Scorpio, but I can't see which house he has them in (because of the lack of birth time). Anyway, his Venus is in Sag, so he really liked the way you came across and expressed yourself to him (because you have a Sag moon).

Moving along, here's what the composite chart says:

In short, you really liked him.

He also really liked you because he has a lot of similar aspects. Astrologically speaking, the fly in the ointment is his Venus squares your Saturn (not favorable for long-term commitments) and his Sun squares your Jupiter (this cuts down on "expanding" together). Basically the chart says it all- a passionate meeting that speaks against long term commitment. Does it have to be this way? Of course not! Both of you have free will and if he's willing to grow up a bit and take his medicine for not seeing what a lovely lady you are, then that's something he's got to live with. My concern is with you; you have a lot to offer, so don't let this stop you in your tracks. Mourn the relationship and then move on. Tell him that you are here for him if/when he pulls himself together, but in the meantime, you are going to live your life.

So I need some help - I am a Virgo (dob 09/09/78 time 11:12pm in Tucson, AZ) anyway I have been dating a Scorpio male... we went out once about 2 months ago, had sex, but sense then it has been hit or miss if we even talk anymore. We both have kids so it is a challenage sometimes. Anyway we finally saw each other on july 3th for about a half hr. a few days after this he tells me he doesn't know if it is gonna work. Well I told him I had dated someone else because I did not know if he was even interested and He is beyond ...ed at me now. I really do like him but it is always hot or cold with him. He never said he wanted to keep dating or anything. I have apologized to him and explained my side but he is still mad. I feel so lost & confused & stupidly heartbroken by the situation. Any hope of fixing this? Any tips to bring this Scorpio around. I swear he is such a scorpio. his dob is 10/24/76 in Tucson, AZ not sure of the time though... any advise would be great!

I don't think either of you are weird at all. Keep in mind that this article deals strictly with the sun signs (in this case Virgo and Scorpio). It does not take into account the Mars placement (which would indicate sexuality). Since you are more comfortable with expressing yourself intimately, you probably have a prominent Mars (he may have Mars in a restrictive house, like the 12th, or 2nd). In any case, thank you for sharing your views and letting our visitors know that there are a lot of sexually assertive Virgos out there!

I agree with almost all of this article. Although I have to say that with the "In the bedroom" portion- it is completely incorrect. I'm the virgo and am completely sexually dominant and wild while he is shy and is overwhelmed by it. So maybe i am a weird virgo and he is a weird scropio.
