Sheep and monkeys- in general, can have some opposing viewpoints; the same can be said of being with a tiger (sheep tend to get along best with snakes, rabbits and such). That said, if you feel ready to take this momentous step (and your husband is ready), then why not? Hi there! I have 2 questions and was hoping you can help me with it. 1. I'm not sure what my chinese zodiac is because I'm born in Feb, year of monkey. However, my birthday was before the chinese new year and hence my mom told me that I'm a sheep instead of monkey, does it work this way? 2. Assuming I'm a sheep, my husband is a monkey. We are thinking of having a child in 2010 which happens to be a tiger. Will that be a alright combination or is it better to wait till the year of rabbit? Thanks!

I'm a firm believer that all signs can get along together if they are willing to work with each other. Your husband is a tiger and you seem to have a solid relationship with him, so I'm sure you can have a good relationship a tiger child. The most important thing is that both you and your husband are ready to take on the responsibility of rearing a child.

Hi there, Boy do I need some direction, I went to see this amazing Taoist master yesterday. I had seen her once before and she did an amazing reading for me. I asked her about having another child around May of 2010 (which would mean I would start trying soon). She said I should wait until I was sure I would carry past the next chinese new year. Because my Husband is a Tiger and the next baby if born next year would also be a tiger. She said a rabbit would be much better. I am torn, I am 36.5 now so naturally waiting concerns me.

The earth element and the Ox are both steady and grounded. This can be a good addition to the family mix in nearly any cir...stance. Horses and dragons are typically a bit more excitable and dramatic, so they will definitely add energy to your household, although they may find their older sibling a bit stodgy for their preferences. However, they'll come to appreciate his steady qualities more as they grow older, and they should always feel a connection through his Gemini characteristics.

Hi, I am a Fire Capricorn Tiger and my boyfriend is an Earth Aries Sheep. My boyfriend and I really love each other and work especially well as a team in business. I am pregnant with his child and our boy is going to be an Earth Gemini Ox. Do you think this is a good combination in terms of our family relationship? Also, I do want two more kids after this one and I thought a Wood Horse and Water Dragon would be nice. Reading above, I guess wood and water would get along but would they have trouble with the earth ox? Thanks.

As mentioned above, people from the elements of metal and wood face challenges to their relationships, so they generally have to work harder on them. Additionally, the tiger and monkey are not naturally compatible and often lack chemisty, so again, these two people must work harder to bridge the gaps. However, they can have a decent relationship if they are both willing to give and take. If you're talking about a family relationship, try to persevere. If this is a romantic relationship you're contemplating, it will be more difficult to maintain for the long haul, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try if you truly love your partner. As a rule (and remember there are always exceptions), water pigs are easly going and fairly trusting. This doesn't mean they just roll over when someone wants them to do something; they're cooperative when they can be, but they also know how to push right back for what they want.

In comparison, a fire dragon is a force to be reckoned with. This sign can be a bit temperamental. This might go over a little smoother when the water pig is able to give way, but when both of these signs come down on opposite sides of an issue, look out!

While not an easy pairing, this is not the worst matched couple in the Chinese Zodiac. If both partners try hard to consider the other's feelings, this relationship can work out, but there will be challenges along the way to overcome.

im not trying to be negative because i strongly believe in the chinese zodiac BUT i am a WOOD RAT and my boyfriend was a FIRE DRAGON and we hate each other haha.

we dont get along AT ALL. like we joke around and thats fine but yeah we fougut everyday from the day we got togteher up until our 3 year anniversary when i finally had to break up with him. so. you know so i dont know.

maybe its because we are both virgos. my mom is a virgo too and sometimes i want to strangle her.

im just glad my son is a fire dog. i think we will get along greast as he groes up if i can control my rat aggressiveness ;)

The good news is that there is good potential for a lasting relationship between pig and tiger because these signs are easy to get along with. Here's where your differences come in. Pigs love to have a lot of support from their partners, and enjoy a lot of closeness. Tigers are loving partners, but they do have an independent streak and value having some time to themselves. If you can avoid crowding your tiger too much, and if your tiger can keep your need for closeness in mind as much as possible, this relationship has the potential to work, but you both must remain flexible.
