Yes, that's a great train of thought. Scientists are always making so much of our "junk DNA" and our "junk" matter, as if none of these components don't have a role.

Your suggestion is quite possible, but when you couple that with all of the other possibilites out there, well, things certainly start to get interesting.

A lot of people believe that our "computers" will "reboot" with new information. I guess we'll have to wait and see. The other thing I'm interested to see is how our concept of time will change (playing off of Einstein's theory). Thank you for the thoughts!

Hi, Has anyone taken into account that the Pineal Gland may play a role in this "change". Perhaps the major solar peak of 2012 will creat flares so strong that anything in it's path with have an increased vibratory rate as a result. This of course goes backs to Quantum physics. With an increased vibratory rate perhaps our now usless pineal glands will play the role they were inted to play one day and perhaps had in the past, creating change, awareness etc... within us and all matter in general. Matter that does not consist of a pineal gland would change in a different. Food for thought. By keeping our pineal glands as heathy as possible through eating well, excercising, avoiding chemicals etc.. as well as having an open mind and being a better person in general, we may be able to adapt to the "change" more easily than someone who isn't prepared at all. Wasn't there some famous guy that something about "surival of the fittest" :) Jacqueline/ hope2012

I hope that the wold changes FOR THE BETTER in 2012. Scientists say they have an idea of using giant mirrors to deflect the sun's rays from the arctic to help stop global warming. That could be the big change the Mayan's predicted: a change for the better. If anything is going to destroy the Earth, It's humans. And I hope we can save our plant instead of destroy it.

This is so retarded! It was probably just a bunch of balony from one of their fake gods. The bible says that Jesus will come back when it is least suspected, so I suppose that if all the earth thinks its going to happen, it's not going to happen!
