Pisces Sexuality
From LoveToKnow Horoscopes
Pisces sexuality can be deeply spiritual and complex. Let’s take a look at who is affected by this intense aspect.
Does Pisces Affect You?
Even if you are a reasonable, pragmatic Taurus, or an innovative, out-of-the-box thinking Aquarius, Pisces sexuality and its components can still affect you. Here’s how.
Sun Sign Pisces
First and foremost, if your sun sign is in Pisces, your entire chart is “rinsed” with the characteristics of that sign. As an aside, this is similar to when your sun houses Saturn or Jupiter; the entire chart is then seen through the “eyes” of these planets.
Venus or Mars in Pisces
To clarify even further, if you happen to be an Aries, but have Venus, Mars or both in Pisces, this aspect will greatly affect you. Venus in a horoscope chart deals with how you convey love and influences what you consider beautiful.
In a horoscope chart, Mars rules energy, and more specifically, sexual energy. Therefore, if Pisces is in any of these planets, it wil color how you love and how you express yourself sexually.
The Eighth House
In polite astrological circles, we often refer to the eight house as the house of rebirth and other people’s money. While that’s true, it’s also the house of sex (the fifth house rules romance). The sexual energy transmuted by this house is dependent upon the astrological sign housed within it. If you happen to find Pisces in this house on your own chart, you'll feel its influence.
An Overview of Pisces Sexuality
Now it’s time to delve deeper into the components that make up Pisces sexuality; namely, it’s spiritual, emphatic and artistic sides. Here’s a closer look.
The Spiritual Side
There is a deeply spiritual side to Pisces, and a lot of this energy is expressed sexually. We see this in Pisces' desire to idealize their partners. Further still, Piscean natives don’t hesitate to sacrifice themselves in order to make or keep their partners happy. This is one area you’ll need to be careful with. While you are sexually adventurous and don’t mind being “dominated”, remember that a healthy sexual relationship often begins with mutual respect.
I Feel Your Pain…
"I feel your pain" could easily be the Pisces mantra. In fact, sexually speaking, the more “pain” your partner feels in life in general (for example, if they’ve had a hard-knock life), the more attractive you’ll find them. This can get you into trouble, especially if it leads you to “hook up” with some of society’s more troubled members.
Paint Me a Picture
Pisces loves the arts, music and basically anything that is creative. This is one of the reasons why they are often sexually creative, or willing to “go there” in the bedroom. This aspect of your sexuality can easily be expressed through role playing and sexual games. However, the darker side of this aspect can involve alcohol or narcotics. To keep this aspect positive, try to connect with partners that are artistic, but healthy for you.
To Sum Up
Pisces sexuality is one that is fantasy-driven, spiritual, emotional and at times, creative. While Pisces is a forgiving sign, those with this aspect need to take care so that they are not misused, neglected or abused. Balance your self-sacrificing nature with a strong sense of self, and you’ll thoroughly enjoy your sexual side.
Compatibility with Others
Feeling proud or discouraged by this explanation of your particular brand of sexuality need not be an issue. Instead, embrace the concept that sexuality may be one area of our personality that is relatively more malleable (you can readily add to it) than other aspects of our personality.
With that in mind, here are some sun, Venus and Mars signs that mesh well with your own:
- Sun sign, Venus sign or Mars sign in Cancer
- Sun sign, Venus sign or Mars sign in Scorpio
- Sun sign, Venus sign or Mars sign in fellow Pisces.

Hi Dominique,
First, we are so happy for you! It always feels great to be in a loving relationship. As for the pair working, there really is no reason for it not to if both of you have compatible signs within each of your charts. The best thing you can do is to have your charts done. That way, you can see where the two of you are compatible, and where you may have to smooth things over. Thanks so much for sharing here, and best of luck!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI am a pisces/aquarius cusp (21 Feb) and am in a relationship with the most wonderful man I have EVER come across. He is a Leo and I've recently heard a lot of taboo about Pisces/Leo combinations. I find though, that he is not what I would have considered a typical Leo. He is not outgoing, loud, overpowering etc. Rather, he is gentle, kind and reserved. I most certainly will not debate the romantic or bedroom aspects of a Leo though! Can a Pisces/Leo combination work long term?

Thanks very much! We try hard to present a well-rounded view on all of the twelve signs of the zodiac. Each sign is unique and has a lot to offer and we want to make sure we share that. Thanks again!
