Cancer Man Leo Woman Love
From LoveToKnow Horoscopes
Cancer man, Leo woman love does happen! Although these two astrological signs don’t often show up under the love horoscope column nearly as often as they should, when they do, it can be a great romantic match!
Cancer Men
Cancer men are perfect if you are looking for a sweet, sincere and long-lasting romantic relationship. These are not the “players” of the zodiac, so if that’s your cup of tea, look elsewhere. Try an Aries or a Gemini; they fit the bill perfectly!
Often shy, a Cancer man tends to wait a while before sharing his feelings. It’s not because he doesn’t want to, it’s just that he wants to be sure that you reciprocate. He does not want his feelings hurt. Protecting his heart is extremely important to the Cancer native, and truth be told, he’d rather stay mum than risk heartbreak.
It takes a special lady to make a Cancer man feel comfortable, but once he does, watch out! No one will be more kind, considerate and loving than the Cancer man!
Leo Women
It’s typical to see a Leo woman paired with a Libra or Sagittarius man. That’s because typical Leos love the spotlight and the aforementioned signs inherently understand this characteristic. Leo’s live life in all its glory. Parties, friendships, sporting events; they’ll take it all and still ask what time lunch is tomorrow! Fun and lively; it’s hard not to fall for a Leo.
Some Leo characteristics that don’t get enough press, however, include their creative, noble and dignified sides. Leos, ruled by the sun, have almost a driving need to create. This can take the form of theater, writing, singing or just being a mom. They also take tremendous pride in their friends and family. If someone even hints at a derogatory term about a friend or family member, you can believe that Leo will be there to defend them!
Compatibility Horoscopes for Cancer Man, Leo Woman Love
What can a Cancer man, Leo woman love match expect? Well, for one thing, fireworks! Anytime you pair a water sign (Cancer) with a fire sign (Leo), mix in a little mutual attraction and add a dash of romance, you find yourself with quite the cosmic explosion!
The Pros
First, let’s take a look at the upside of a Cancer man, Leo woman, love match.
- Creativity
When you combine the moon (Cancer’s ruler) and the sun (Leo’s ruler) you get a whole lot of creativity! This is great because it means the two of you can pair up on projects. Some possibilities? Consider writing a script together, making a film, etc. Basically, anything that allows the two of you to be creatively involved will do the trick.
- Satellites
Think about this. Our sun has a satellite: our moon. So too can it be with a Cancer man and Leo woman in love. To be clear, this doesn’t mean that one is better than the other. It simply means that often we feel most comfortable when we’re true to ourselves. With this pairing, it would be the Leo woman taking center stage, and the Cancer man playing a supportive, loving role.
- Dream Big
Both Leos and Cancers like to dream. Cancer men usually have a running narrative in their heads, and tend to understand things best through moving images. Leos operate in a similar manner. This means that the two of you have a very real possibility of making your dreams come true- together!
The Cons
Here are some possible pitfalls:
- Conflict
There is a possibility of conflict with this pairing. Cancers tend to wait and think things through. They are known for their extreme caution. Leos, on the other hand, are the exact opposite!
- The Homebody and the Socialite
If there was ever a phrase that captured the essence of this pairing, it would have to be this one! Cancers really do love staying in, and yes, Leos need to go out.
- Flirting
This can also cause problems. Leos love to flirt, and Cancers hate watching their partner’s behave this way with others. There’s certainly a possibility for discord here.
Can It Work?
There’s always a chance that things can work out. Let famous couple Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick be your inspiration. Kevin Bacon is a Cancer man, while is wife, Kyra Sedgwick, is a Leo. Not only do these two make a Hollywood marriage work (that in itself is no small feat!), but they’re also making their Cancer man Leo woman connection last!.

Hi Opposites...,
Thanks so much for sharing your story with us here and proving that signs that don't "classically" go together can work out very well. So much goes into attraction, so it's great that your experience shows that we really need to move beyond sun signs when it comes to romance. Thanks again!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI love reading how Leos and Cancers match well! I've been with my Cancer boyfriend for 9 years and I am still so in love with him. He and I are exactly what you described, but what shocked me about the article was the creativity part. It really is true! The proof is in our home... He and I picked out colors and furniture TOGETHER, he made a beautiful dresser and an entertainment center, and I even made original lamps that he installed the lighting on! The outcome was gorgeous and so ORIGINAL!
Anyway, I've always thought the reason we've been so happy was because we're total opposites (you know the saying, "Opposites attract") and that's what kept things fun and interesting. Not to mention he's always observing me and treating me like a queen. But after reading about our compatibility, I think it might just be because of our zodiac signs!
This article describes only a small bit of what the 9 years together has been like. I recommend every woman Leo go out and find a handsome, sexy, CANCER man (BUT NOT MINE) and you'll be set for a great romance! Hehe... Thanks for writing the article, it reminded me how lucky I am to have him in my life.

That's so wonderful! First, I'm glad that the article rang true, and second, it's wonderful that the two of you are still going strong. It's seems like both of you are approaching the relationship in a realistic manner- of course, there will be conflict, but most of it can be worked out. I hope things continue going strong and best of luck in the future!
